June 1-5
Summer Sports One
Play t-ball, kickball, run the track, long jump, soccer, trail-run, obstacle course and more!
June 8-12
Beach and Ocean
Learn about the beach, the ocean, and the animals that live there. Play in sand, have ābeach daysā, and make ocean themed crafts! Outings include the splash pad and imaginary beach!
June 15-19
Fungi and Fairy Gardens
Learn about the magical world of fungi and use our imagination to craft fairy gardens! Grow fungi, learn some fungi identification, and make some fungi crafts and artwork! Build fairy houses and go for a fungi hike to discover local fungi.
June 22-26
Swimming and Water Safety
Learn about staying safe in and around water, and attend a week of swim lessons at the Washoe Pool! Water experiments, float or sink, water theme crafts and more!
July 6-10
Rocks and Geology
Letās learn about rocks! Discover different types of rock, explore gems, and learn about fossils. Visit Gem Mountain, a local hike to see rock types, learn about rocks from a geologist, paint rocks and learn about the layers of the earth, volcanos and more!
July 13-17
Insects
Learn all about insects! Identification, body parts, lifestyles and more. Raise butterflies and ants right on site! Go on insect hikes to observe a variety of insects. Build bug hotels and create insect art! Learn about symmetry and classification this week using insects as our examples.
July 20-24
Art
This week is all about art, art of all kinds! Paint with nature materials, go plein air painting in the park, create sculptures of rocks and clay, create collages, and learn how to make natural paint dyes. Go on a field trip to Sculptures in the Wild in Lincoln, MT to see and be part of sculptures and other art!
August 3-7
Summer Sports Take 2
We have so much fun with this theme we needed a second round! Play soccer, t-ball, kickball, practice our long jump and relays! Go mini golfing here in town and spend some time at the local climbing gym (TBD).

Stream Habitats
This week is all about streams, wetlands and ponds and the creatures who live there. Make and place leaf packs to catch macroinvertebrates in the stream, learn about habitat health, and go on nature walks to local beaver ponds, marshes and streams. Create artwork depicting ponds and rivers and learn about cattail weaving!
August 10-14
Food and Cooking
Spend the week learning cooking techniques, how to follow a recipe, basic nutrition, and all about different foods. Field trips to local food establishments and lots and lots of tasty food!
August 17-21
Birds and Wildlife
This week we are exploring the local birds and wildlife. Nature walks, bird counts, and a field trip to the Grant Kohrs Ranch to discover even more local wildlife!
Full-time: 11 weeks of fun! Breakfast, snacks, and lunch served, field trips, hikes, crafts, activities, park days and swim lessons! 7:45-4:45 M-F
$1200 per month, final month prorated, sibling discount offered.
Three Full days: 11 weeks of fun! Breakfast, snacks, and lunch served, field trips, hikes, crafts, activities, and park days! Mondays and Fridays typically on site, Tuesday through Thursday outings. Pick your three days (may depend on availability) 7:45-4:45.
